What are the symptoms of a broken turbocharger?
Symptoms of broken supercharger:
1. Power reduction;
2. Increased fuel consumption;
3, burning oil;
4. Blue or black smoke from the exhaust pipe;
5, engine jitter;
6. Screeching sound during rapid acceleration.
After the engine starts, especially in winter, idle operation should be allowed for a period of time, so that the lubriing oil in the turbocharger rotor before high-speed operation of full lubriion bearings. Therefore, do not just start on the accelerator, so as not to damage the turbocharger oil seal.
It cannot be shut down immediately after running at high speed for a long time.
When removing the supercharger, keep it clean and all pipe joints must be blocked with clean cloth to avoid debris falling into the supercharger and damaging the rotor. Do not hit and damage the impeller during maintenance.
If the impeller needs to be replaced, the action balance test should be carried out.
After reassembly, remove the plug. Because the supercharger often runs at high temperature, the lubriing oil pipeline is exposed to high temperature, and the oil is easy to coking, which will lead to the damage of the supercharger bearing due to lack of lubriion.
